Big Boy Cabin

Designed and built Big Boy Cabin’s site with branding, payments, and member login.
Big Boy Cabin is one of my most comprehensive digital builds to date. I designed and developed the entire online ecosystem for a rapidly growing experiential event brand serving Black gay men. This project required an end-to-end approach: brand storytelling, UX strategy, visual design, membership logic, secure payment flows, automation systems, and content architecture that could scale with attendance and digital engagement.
I established the full visual language for Big Boy Cabin — from the color palette and typography to the tone, energy, and digital personality of the brand. I built a cohesive aesthetic inspired by bold masculinity, inclusivity, neon modernism, and nightlife culture, ensuring the site felt both premium and culturally authentic. All imagery, graphics, and UI components were crafted to highlight community, adventure, and confidence.
I planned and executed the entire UI/UX for BigBoyCabin.com, focusing on clarity, excitement, and conversion. Key UX goals included delivering event information quickly, promoting upgrades and add-ons, and simplifying the user journey from interest to registration. Every page — Home, Event Details, Pricing, FAQ, Registration, Media, Contact, and more — was wireframed, designed, and optimized for mobile-first interaction.
I built the full website in Webflow, configuring custom animations, responsive layouts, reusable components, and structured CMS collections for speakers, schedules, photo galleries, testimonials, and future event expansions. This setup allows rapid content updates and eliminates the need for hard-coded changes as the brand grows.
I integrated Memberstack to create a secure membership and account portal. Features I implemented include:
• A pre-registration system
• Protected pages for paid members only
• Tiered admission logic (General Admission, Private Rooms, Cast Admission, Day Passes)
• Email verification
• Profile creation
• Automated onboarding journeys
This system supports thousands of users and provides a foundation for future expansions like community features, reward systems, and member-only perks.
I connected Stripe for secure checkout and built custom payment workflows including:
• Full payments
• Down payment options
• Monthly payment plans
• Automated receipts & confirmation emails
• Dynamic pricing tiers
• Early-bird vs general admission logic
I also connected Zapier automations to sync Stripe, Memberstack, Webflow CMS, email marketing, and internal databases.
I created an intuitive registration flow that guides visitors through:
This funnel significantly improved conversion rates and reduced the manual labor previously required.
I implemented search-optimized copy, metadata, OG images, and structured content to support high discoverability. The site was engineered to align with existing marketing funnels on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and ManyChat, ensuring seamless flow between content and sign-up pages.
I also produced multiple promotional graphics, landing pages, and campaign assets tied to seasonal pushes such as the Loverboy Edition, Early-Bird Offers, and Day Pass Campaigns.
The brand expanded beyond a website into a full multimedia ecosystem. I:
• Designed livestream overlays, lower-thirds, and title cards
• Built a dedicated livestream page with custom RTMP integration
• Structured a future-ready media library for documentaries, recaps, and casting calls
• Implemented a press kit and downloadable brand materials
I developed a verification process using Stripe Identity ensuring all guests are validated before joining private groups or attending the event. This addressed safety concerns and improved community trust.
I continue to provide updates for:
• New event editions
• Adjustments to pricing and registration
• Media additions
• UX refinements
• Automation updates
• SEO improvements
This project has become a long-term digital platform that evolves with the brand.
